A Proven Health System Leader
Health System Leadership, Operational Turnarounds, and Interim Management
Health System Leadership, Operational Turnarounds, and Interim Management
I am a successful healthcare executive with more than 30 years of senior leadership experience as a creative and visionary health system leader with a record of success in both not-for-profit and for-profit organizations. For 12 years I served Mon Health in Morgantown, WV, four as Chief Operating Officer and seven years as President and Chief Executive Officer. During my tenure the health system excelled in quality of care, and patient safety. We were consistently in the top decile nationally and the highest rated in West Virginia, according to HealthGrades. Financially we maintained an A- stable bond rating from both Standard & Poor and Fitch.
The combination of skills and experiences that compile the value I offer an organization can be categorized into five areas of expertise.
I am looking for a new opportunity in which my depth of knowledge, and record of consistent successful experience can be utilized as a CEO or COO. My areas of interest include leading a regional health system or a stand-alone community hospital, to serve in a leadership role of a home health/population health management organization or with an innovative health services delivery platform. I can be a leader on an interim basis or as a key executive in an operational/financial turnaround.
